We invite you to an exciting, interdisciplinary event that deals with the future of systematic nutritional surveys in Switzerland.

 

The Swiss Nutrition Monitoring Summit begins at 11 a.m. with inspiring opening speeches on the role of nutritional monitoring in promoting a healthy and sustainable future for the Swiss population.

After lunch we will present our current nutrition monitoring initiative, which was developed in cooperation between the University of St. Gallen and the Inselspital Bern. This project explores the automation and scalability of nutritional monitoring in Switzerland. Learn about the underlying technologies, data analysis methodologies and potential partnerships revolutionizing food consumption data analysis nationwide.

 

The afternoon is dedicated to a workshop summarizing the collective knowledge and experience of the diverse participants. The workshop aims to bring together different perspectives, including those of managers from food manufacturers and retailers, as well as politicians, researchers and other interested stakeholders, in order to further develop our existing methodology together. In interactive discussions, we generate innovative approaches, identify challenges and develop solutions with added value for everyone involved. The aim of our project is to create long-term and publicly accessible added value for all stakeholders.

During the lunch and coffee breaks, we offer you the opportunity to make contacts and exchange ideas with other participants and experts.
